A Montreal native, Dr. Yamen Ghamian earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences of McGill University before completing a one-year certificate program in Advanced Education General Dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Passionate about providing compassionate care, he has proudly served our community since 2004!
Inspired to become a dentist at 13, Dr. Yamen has long been passionate about the power of a healthy, confident smile. His goal is to provide customized dentistry in a calming setting where patients feel truly listened to and cared for, whether they’re new to our practice or have trusted us for years with their smile.
Dr. Yamen graduated with the top marks of his graduating class at McGill University and received several awards, including the Dr. Thornton Gold Medal for the highest standing in the dental degree program and the Prix Aldis Bernard award for excellence in academic achievements in dentistry. He is also a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, exemplifying his dedication to ongoing learning and diligent patient care.
Dr. Habib Khoury earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from McGill University’s Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, where he served in multiple student leadership roles. He completed a hospital residency at Montreal’s Royal Victoria Hospital before providing dental care to northern and remote communities in Ontario and Nunavut. Since 2005, he has provided comprehensive dental services to patients in the Ottawa area.
For Dr. Habib Khoury, dentistry is about people first — building trust, sharing smiles, and making every patient feel cared for. His approach blends advanced science with a human touch, ensuring that each patient receives personalized, restorative, and cosmetic care in a calm and compassionate environment.
Dr. Khoury maintains active membership in the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He has completed post-graduate education in orthodontics, clear aligner therapy, implant dentistry, endodontics, and cosmetic techniques, and is passionate about supporting community outreach initiatives, including Free Dentistry Day, Canadian Dentistry for Refugees, and the Ottawa Charity Run.
Dr. Muna Osman graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of the East College of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines. She then completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery Advanced Placement program at the University of Alberta, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Muna has a special interest in caring for the unique dental needs of children and seniors. She believes that patient education is key to empowering patients to make informed decisions about their oral health, and her focus is on helping each person in her care feel confident, at ease, and well-informed during every visit.
Dr. Muna has been recognized by the Arthur D. Cumming Medal for outstanding merit in dentistry for children, has received the University of Alberta Leadership Award, and has been the recipient of several honours in restorative dentistry and clinical excellence. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Tamara Erak began her academic journey at Carleton University, earning a bachelor’s degree in integrated science with a concentration in health sciences and a minor in biology. She then attended Ryerson University, where she pursued a master’s degree in molecular science with a focus on glycobiology. Dr. Tamara then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.
With training in restorative, endodontics, periodontics, laser dentistry, Invisalign®, CAD/CAM technology, and oral surgery, Dr. Tamara brings a comprehensive approach to patient care. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, using her experience and skill to help them achieve their healthiest, most confident smiles!
Dr. Tamara held multiple executive positions during her studies at The Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, including Prosthodontic Study Club President, Dental Anesthesia Membership Director, and Academy of General Dentistry Clinical Representative. She is a proud member of the Ottawa Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Hussein Al-Mufti achieved his bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Baghdad before training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Malaya in Malaysia. He then earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Glasgow and gained valuable clinical experience in England, where he served as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Bradford Royal Infirmary. After moving to Canada, he immediately started his qualification exams to obtain his dental license and completed the International Dental Degree Program at the University of Manitoba.
Helping patients restore their confidence and optimal oral health is at the heart of Dr. Hussein’s approach. He does everything he can to help patients love their smiles, and is particularly passionate about restoring smiles with long-lasting implants. Dr. Hussein is fluent in English and Arabic, and is dedicated to serving a diverse range of patients.
Dr. Hussein has received numerous awards, including the Dr. William Bloom Prize for the highest overall average in Oral Surgery, the Dr. Joseph Freeman Memorial Prize, and the Canadian Academy of Periodontology Award of Excellence. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Ottawa Dental Society.

Outside the office, Susan loves spending quality time with her daughter, Shannon, maintaining her garden, relaxing by the lake, and enjoying evenings out with friends at local pubs.
Carla is focused on creating a fun and enjoyable experience for every patient. She has been a valued team member since 2000 and believes in building trusting bonds that help patients feel empowered about caring for their oral health.
Beyond the office, Carla enjoys cheering on her favourite hockey teams, spending time with her family, and getting lost in a good book by Stephen King.
Allison is known for her compassionate, empathetic approach and loves getting to know families at our clinic. She’s committed to helping patients optimize their smiles and loves providing tailored advice to help them support their oral health.
Outside of the clinic, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Sammy. She also likes to exercise, cook, and go on family walks.
Kim is dedicated to making every patient feel at ease with her warm and welcoming manner. She takes pride in all she does and is passionate about creating customized care plans that reflect each patient’s needs.

Julie brings a passion for kindness, understanding, and respect to every appointment. While she loves caring for smiles of all ages, she has an affinity for working with children and devotes herself to helping kids understand how important it is to protect their smiles.
Outside our practice, Julie loves family life in Ottawa with her husband and three daughters. She also enjoys expressing her creativity in the kitchen as a retired Red Seal chef.

Osakpolor finds great joy in helping patients feel at ease by calmly answering their questions throughout their visits.
